Tamara Little was born in St. Petersburg, FL, and grew up in Central Illinois, where she graduated from Aurora University with her BSN in 1996. After graduating from nursing school she married the love of her life and spent the next 16 years working as a nurse in the ICU, ER, on an ambulance as a Critical Care Transport Nurse, and on a helicopter as a flight nurse. In 2011 Tammie went back to school to become a Certified Nurse Midwife and in 2014 she graduated with her MSN from Frontier Nursing University. She has spent the past 6 years in Alaska, where she served the women of Alaska in multiple hospitals as a Certified Nurse Midwife. Following her husband’s retirement from the US Air Force, Tammie and her family moved to the Longview area to be closer to friends and family, and out of the cold. Tammie believes that all women should support and encourage one another in any way possible and is honored to serve the women and families of East Texas.
